Retrospective of New Work: Opening up Space //

Reconciling the circumstances of being human with an expansive inquiry into one’s own undoing and great becoming, this survey of Leigh’s work announces a new era of phrophetic un-knowing, looking at what comes next through the palatable design process of inner landscapes set out as life-long roadmaps, traversed and familiar, undiscovered and beckoning. There is, in this exhibition, a poignant invitation and proposition for néw quests, traveling future-forward in vehicles of ill repute, with persons of suspended character and willful co-invention. Whats also being invented, indubitably, are excessively extended declarative decorative art-minded maddening sentences, shockingly arising subtly from the injustice of memory imagery and henceforth recreating foregone exhibitions of unmistakable inimitable grandeur on display. The body of work moves, is at once provocative yet settling, full of questions and answers, an invitation for collaboration underneath it all, born of this private domain of future-casting. Opening up Space unveils a complex simplicity that soothes the turbulent terrain, secures the trek to far-off lands, and beyond, in the blink of an eye.

The possibility of Expansion itself is the adventure of becoming human.
